Joanna Miller, LCSW, MSW, MS
Child and Family Psychotherapist
Ms. Miller is a licensed clinical social worker who focuses on the treatment of children and families. Ms. Miller completed her Master’s of Child Development at the Erikson Institute in 2007 and her Master’s of Social Work at Loyola University in 2008. She believes as humans, we are born to seek out interpersonal relationships. Her training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy focuses on that very first relationship The attachment a child develops is the foundation for that child’s mental health and future relationships. Ms. Miller partners with the child’s primary caregivers in a collaborative process in working towards mutually held goals. She provides her clients with an environment based on sensitivity, empathy and respect. Ms. Miller has experience working with a variety of issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and autism spectrum disorder.
